Description
The imperative of striving to be a model church is clear in an age of confusion and uncertainty. We do not want our effort, resources, and opportunities to be wasted in planting churches that are only Reformed Baptist in name. The model church is examined by considering its root, then its trunk, and finally its crown. We desire our own church, and the churches we plant, to be healthy, strong, and faithful to the Lord. We desire our churches to reflect the glory and beauty of Christ in the world. For this to happen, the fruit of the Spirit must be seen in the life of the members, while the church strives to uphold the doctrine and practice delineated by our ecclesiastical tree.
